I work from home full time. I run a six-figure digital marketing business from my desk, and I spend a significant chunk of every single day sitting in front of it. So the idea that a desk setup is a frivolous thing? I genuinely disagree.

When your desk looks like somewhere you actually want to be, something shifts. You sit down with more intention. You stay focused for longer. You feel like the person who runs the kind of business you are trying to build. That sounds dramatic, but I stand by it.

My setup has been built up over time - some things I invested in properly, some were absolute bargains, and some are still very much on the wishlist. I have split this post into what I actually own and use every single day, and what I am saving up for next. All the links are below so you can shop everything in one place.

The Vibe I Was Going For

If these images could sum it up - this is exactly it. Warm neutrals, clean whites, soft textures and everything in its place. The kind of desk that makes you want to sit down and actually get things done, but also feels calm enough that you are not stressed the moment you walk in. I wanted my home office to feel like an extension of the soft living aesthetic I am building my whole brand around - not clinical, not corporate, not chaotic. Just cosy, intentional and genuinely beautiful to be in. Natural light, a fluffy chair, a good monitor, a mic that means business and a few little touches that make it feel like mine. That is the brief. That is always the brief.

What Is Actually on My Desk Right Now?

These are the things I use every single day as part of my cosy desk set-up.

Not aspirational. Not sponsored.

Just the actual items that live on my desk and genuinely make my working day soooooo much better, 10x more productive … and of course, easy on the eyes #LivingThatAestheticLife

Sleek Aesthetic White 4k screen girlie monitor for 'My Cosy Home Office Setup - Aesthetic Desk Finds for the Work From Home Girlie'

πŸ–₯️ The LG UltraFine Pivot Monitor

Genuinely one of the best things I have ever bought for my business. It is a large, crispy white screen and the fact that it pivots means I can flip it into portrait mode when I need to. I desperately wanted a sleek white monitor, not an ugly chrome, black or grey one. It needed to match the aesthetic, so this was perfect!

If you do any kind of content creation, social media management, or spend a lot of time reading long documents, portrait mode is a total game-changer, and also so is just having a crazy-ass supersize screen that you can have multiple windows open on 😍 I would not go back to a standard monitor now.

It is an investment, I won't lie. But if you are running a proper business from home, a good monitor is not a luxury - it is a tool.

Biege desk mat for 'My Cosy Home Office Setup - Aesthetic Desk Finds for the Work From Home Girlie'

πŸͺ΅ Beige Leather Desk Mat

This was a relatively small purchase that made a disproportionately large difference to how my desk looks and feels. I have mine in beige and it instantly pulls everything together. It is non-slip, waterproof, and also functions as a giant mousepad which means no more hunting for the mouse mat when it slides behind the monitor.

It just makes the whole desk look intentional. Like someone who has their life together works here. Which is the vibe I am going for.

Cloud wrist rest for 'My Cosy Home Office Setup - Aesthetic Desk Finds for the Work From Home Girlie'

☁️ Cloud Wrist Rest

I saw this on TikTok and immediately went on a hunt for it. Completely impractical in terms of need. Completely necessary in terms of want. It is a cloud shaped PU leather wrist rest for your keyboard and it is the cutest thing on my desk by a significant margin.

Does it make me type better? Probably not. Does it make me smile every time I sit down? Absolutely. And sometimes that is enough of a reason.

Headphone stand for 'My Cosy Home Office Setup - Aesthetic Desk Finds for the Work From Home Girlie'

🎧 Wooden Headphone Stand

This was another small but satisfying purchase. I was always putting my headphones down in random places and then spending ten minutes looking for them before every Zoom call. The wooden headphone stand means they always have a home, they always look tidy, and it adds a really nice warm natural texture to the desk alongside all the white and beige.

It also has a little cable holder (where I also stash my hair bobbles and crystals). My desk is much less chaotic since this arrived.

Aesthetic white blue yeti microphone for 'My Cosy Home Office Setup - Aesthetic Desk Finds for the Work From Home Girlie'

🎀 Blue Yeti Premium USB Mic

This is the only microphone I use. Full stop. I;ve had it for years. Whether I am recording content, running a coaching call on Zoom, doing a podcast episode or recording a voice note that I am going to transcribe with AI - the Blue Yeti is what I reach for. The audio quality is genuinely excellent and it looks good on a desk too, which matters when you are on camera a lot.

If you are doing anything that involves your voice being recorded professionally, this is worth every penny.

cosy desk mug warmer for 'My Cosy Home Office Setup - Aesthetic Desk Finds for the Work From Home Girlie'

β˜• Coffee Mug Warmer

make a hot drink and forget about it every single time, because I get distracted. Every single time. This little mug warmer sits on my desk and keeps everything at the perfect temperature so that when I finally remember my drink is there, it is still hot.

The wood grain finish is beautiful and fits perfectly into a neutral aesthetic desk setup without looking like a gadget. It has three temperature settings, a timer you can set anywhere from two to twelve hours, and an auto shut-off after four hours so you never have to worry about leaving it on.

Practical, aesthetic and genuinely one of my most used desk items.

  • Shell Shaped Desk Lamp - this one is just dreamy. Aesthetic, soft lighting, functional. It is giving exactly the kind of cosy home office energy I am always going for.

  • Aesthetic Bookshelf and Cubby Shelf - boho CEO energy, as I described it in the list. Perfect for plants, crystals, books and the random cute things that end up on every creative's desk.

  • Faux Fur Swivel Office Chair - a throne. That is what this is. If you are going to spend hours at a desk, you may as well sit in something that looks like it belongs in a Pinterest dream board.

  • Curved Minimalist Drawers - clutter-free storage that actually looks good. One of the things I always notice on really aesthetic desk setups is that everything has a home. These would help enormously.

  • CEO Vibes Desk Organiser - sleek white finish with a little drawer. Gets the pens, highlighters and sticky notes under control without making the desk look messy.

  • 2-Tier Wrought Iron Bookshelf - practical and pretty in equal measure. Ideal for planners, notebooks and anything you want within reach but off the actual desk surface.

  • Desktop Bookshelf Organiser - the Pinterest-worthy version of a desk tidy. I love the look of these on aesthetic setups.

  • Bowknot Desk Chair - adjustable, comfortable and genuinely cute. A solid alternative if the faux fur throne is a bit much.

  • Coffee Latte Keycap Set - cafe vibes on your keyboard. Completely unnecessary. Completely want it.

  • Jones Minimalist Bookshelf - clean lines, neutral tones, effortlessly polished. The kind of piece that makes a home office look like it was styled on purpose.

Why Your WFH Setup Actually Matters

I know some people will read this and think it is all a bit superficial. It is just a desk, right? But I genuinely believe that your environment affects your output. When your workspace feels chaotic, your work feels chaotic. When it feels calm, intentional and like somewhere you actually want to be - everything flows a bit easier.

As someone who runs a business entirely from home and has done for several years now, I have learned that investing in your workspace is investing in your business. Not every item needs to be expensive. The leather desk mat was not a huge outlay. The headphone stand cost very little. But the cumulative effect of getting the small things right adds up.

Working from a desk that looks like a Pinterest board is just more fun. That is allowed as a reason, too.

Shop Everything

I have put all of these together in one easy shoppable list over on Benable so you can browse everything without having to hunt around. The items I own all link directly to Amazon. The wishlist items are linked there too.
